Taylor <br /> Meeting was Called to order by Chairman Gottlieb at 630 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday, March 2 2020 Regular Session: <br /> ................ <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the Regular Session minutes of Monday, <br /> March 2,2020 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Mara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> The Mashpee Town Hall is now closed to the public (3/16/2020) and will remain closed <br /> until further notice. <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> Discussion and Approval the Following: <br /> Due to extenuating circumstances, the Board of Selectmen waived the requirement for applicants to <br /> be present for the following actions; <br /> Special Event Temporary Sign Permit and One Dqy Liquor License: Annual Beach &Back Half <br /> Marathon and 5K Race June 7 2020: Racewire—Cohn Henr <br /> The Board of Selectmen was in receipt of a Special Event Application from.Racewire for the <br /> Annual Beach and Back Half Marathon and 5k scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from <br /> 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. <br /> The application includes approval of a One Day Liquor License; beer and wine only and a <br /> Temporary Sign Permit application. This is an annual event to benefit the Mashpee Boosters Club. <br /> The event details are similar to previous years. The race will begin a Donnas Lane and end at the <br /> Mashpee Commons village green. Naukabout Brewery will provide post-event beverages. <br /> The application submitted by Colin Henry of Racewire was reviewed by regulatory departments <br /> with stipulations attached to the memorandum to the Board of Selectmen dated March 11, 2020. <br /> The event requires a road closure for Donnas Lane from Route 28 to Great Neck South, and the use <br /> of 16 detail police officers for safety. <br />
