2 <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 5, 2020 <br /> Present: Mike Richardson, Jeffrey Pettengill, Gregory McKelvey, Phil McCahill, <br /> Darlene Furbush, John Miller <br /> Patricia DeBoer, Superintendent of Schools <br /> Paul Funk, School Business Administrator <br /> Woman, two guys <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT—None at this time. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Thursday, February 27 2020 and Monday, March 2, 2020: <br /> Motion made by Mr. McCahill to approve the minutes of Thursday, February 27,2020 and <br /> Monday,March 2, 2020 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. McKelvey. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Richardson,yes Mr. Pettengill,yes Mr. McKelvey,yes <br /> Mr. McCahill,yes Mrs. Furbush,yes Mr. Miller,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Patricia DeBoer, Superintendent of Schools—School Department FY21 Budget - $22,778,314: <br /> The Finance Committee met with Patricia DeBoer, Superintendent of Schools for the purpose of <br /> reviewing the School's FY 2021 Budget. Also present for discussion was Paul Funk, School <br /> Business Administrator, Hope Hanscom, Assistant Superintendent of Schools and Geoff <br /> Gorman, School Committee Chairman. <br /> School Superintendent Patricia DeBoer gave an overview of the level service budget narrative. <br /> There are over 1600 students attending Mashpee Public Schools. The School Committee has <br /> been responsible and particular as well as good stewards to present a budget within the funds <br /> allocated. Mashpee is a community that values education and students attending Mashpee <br /> Schools are outstanding and precious to staff members. <br />
