In closing Mrs. Thayer indicated the tax rate would not be set until November so there is ample time to review the budget and funds available for appropriation. The Board of Selectmen reviewed communication received from Glen Harrington; Board of Health Agent dated May 14, 2020 relative to the Short-Term Rental Registration Fees. After consulting Town Counsel the following fee schedule was considered; Fee Categories: Registration/Rental Certificate Issuance $25 per rental property Inspections $75 per dwelling unit As directed by the Board of Selectmen, the multiple unit properties would be inspected at 1/3'of the properties each year with all units to be inspected over a 3-year period. It was recommended the Town Byla w- be revised in October to be consistent with this practice. Motion made by Selectman Sherman to replace the Fee Schedule adopted at the prior Board of Selectmen's meeting, and adopt the revised Short Term Registration Fees; $25 per rental property and $75 per dwelling unit with the directive for inspections as outlined. Motion seconded by Selectmen Weeden. VOTE: 4-0-1. Motion carries. Roll Call Vote.
