'7 <br /> Article 10 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $62,300 from revenue available for <br /> appropriation to fund the addition of two shellfish upweller floats to the Ockway Bay Landing Town Dock. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: Shellfish upweller floats are needed at the Ockway Bay Landing Town Dock to grow shellfish <br /> seed for implementation of the Shellfish Component of the Comprehensive watershed Nitrogen <br /> Management Flan for water quality restoration and harvest for food. The breakdown is. Engineering and <br /> permits $6,500. Purchase and installation of 2 upweller dock floats $29,900 and one piling $3,000. <br /> Electrical power installed $18,800. water service installed $4,100. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 10 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> FllvCO1v1": This article authorizes the appropriation and transfer of funds from revenue available for <br /> appropriation to fund the design, purchase and installation of two Floating Upweller Systems (FLUPSY) at <br /> the Ockway Bay town dock. This will enable nearly doubling the number of quahog seed(from 4.5 million <br /> to .11 million) contributing to the town's water quality restoration plan this year. The Comprehensive <br /> Watershed Nitrogen Management Plan calls for 20 million seem each year eventually. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of article 10 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> Article 11 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of$350,000 from the Assessors' Overlay Surplus Account <br /> to the Assessors' Revaluation Account. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Assessors <br /> Explanation: To transfer existing monies to the Assessor's Revaluation Account for costs related to <br /> meeting the Department of Revenue's certification requirements. All towns are required to maintain a <br /> revaluation account for costs relating to valuation consultants, Appellate Tax Beard expenses, private <br /> appraisals, defense of values and various other requirements to ensure accurate assessments and timely <br /> issuance of tax bills. <br /> The Beard of!selectmen recommends approval of article 11 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> FINCOM This article authorizes the transfer of $350,000 from the Assessor's Surplus Account to the <br /> Assessor's Revaluation Account. These existing funds need to be ,set aside in the Revaluation Account to <br /> meet Department of Revenue certification requirements. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of article 11 by a vote of 6-0 <br /> Article 12 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $150,000 from revenue available for <br /> appropriation to the Board of Health Nuisance Remediation expense account. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Health <br /> 12 <br />
