Page I Town of Mashpee Mashpee High School 500 Old Barnstable Road Mashpee,, MA 02649 Special Town Meeting Monday,,June 1% 2020 Barnstable, ss: Greetings to the Constables of the Town, In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,you are hereby directed to notify and summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to -vote i'n the elections to meet at the Mashpee High School on Monday,the 15th day of June 2020 at 7:00 p.m.for the following purposes: To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant: Article I (Fin-Com Report Page 7) To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer a sum of money from revenue available for appropriation to the Snow& Ice Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Department of Public Works Explanation: This article is necessary to fund a deficit in the Snow& Ice Account. The Board of Selectmen recommends Article I be indefinitely postponed The Finance Committee will make a recommendation on Article 1 at Town Meeting Article 2 (Fin-Corn Report Page 7) To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of$1,043.50 from revenue available for appropriation to pay the previous fiscal year's unpaid bills'as follows: Motorola Solutions, Inc. $1,.043.50 or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Fire Department Explanation: This article' is necessary to pay bills received after the end of a previous fiscal year.
