The Chair inquired <br /> whether members wished to review provided data sources to assist with the HPP update or <br /> provide feedback as he and Mr. Lehrer updated the Plan. Ms. Pina expressed interest in assisting <br /> and Ms. Baker offered to assist with action items, as needed. <br /> The Chair reported that he had been in contact with Tom Ferronti at Mashpee Commons, <br /> regarding their role in the Town's HPP and Chapter 40B project. Originally, 5% of their 392 <br /> unit project would have been affordable under Chapter 40B, however, Mashpee Commons has <br /> decided to instead pursue a Development Agreement through the Cape Cod Commission and <br /> Town of Mashpee. Since the process would take time, no changes to the Mashpee Commons <br /> section would be made for this update, but it was likely that results would be included in the next <br /> update. The Chair also referenced the Accessory Apartment Bylaw, as well as a section <br /> regarding responsibilities and action steps and roles, and the necessity for follow up, possibly <br /> through working groups to maintain a dialogue and ensure follow through. There was consensus <br /> from members that the issues considered seemed reasonable. <br /> Affordable Housing Projects in Development <br /> 950 Falmouth Road-The Chair reported that the developers had recently received <br /> their Project Eligibility Letter from DHCD, and were moving forward with the project. Mr. <br /> Lehrer believed that the project's application had been submitted to the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals, but would follow up to confirm. The Chair referenced an October 30 deadline for the <br /> Pre-Development Application for funding with DHCD,with a full application due in February. <br /> The Pre-Development Application would assist DHCD in identifying the most serious and <br /> approvable projects. The developers anticipated the likelihood that it may take two or three <br /> rounds of applications to acquire funding. <br /> Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod-Ms. Wade stated that the Mashpee builds were <br /> moving right along and anticipated completion in May/June 2021. It was noted that 21 Habitat <br /> for Humanity homes had been built in Mashpee. The Chair inquired about the number of sales <br /> by original home owners, and Ms. Wade confirmed that the majority continued to be owned by <br /> the original owners.
