23
Report of the Planning board
To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and
the Citizens of the Town of Mashpee
Gentlemen:
The Planning Board hereby submits their report for the
year ending December 31, 1962.
This is the second year that your Board has been in
operation since the adoption of the Zoning By -Laws. Last
year we made the statement that our Town would, , in the
future, be second to none on the entire Cape. At the present
time we feel that this statement has been warranted. The
Town is progressing rapidly under some of the conscientious
developers already in Mashpee. We do wish to state that
the New Seabury has given our Town the type of prestige
that we very much desire.
We have processed almost double the number of plans
that we processed last year. We feel that we will continue
to progress, with the backing and cooperation of you, the
people of Mashpee, who have created this Board and voted
its members into office. At any time that we have a public
hearing we would appreciate your presence. This is your
Town, help us to plan it properly and please "think big." It
is our Town.
Respectfully submitted,
MINER C. PEDERSEN
ANDRE LABUTE
MYRON STUDLEY
HARRY TABB
BERNARD CARTER
Planning Board
