25
Report of the Planning Board
To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and
the Citizens of the Town of Mashpee
Gentlemen:
The Planning Board hereby submits their report for the
year ending December 31, 1963.
We have completed a street map of the town which is
proving very helpful to town officials as well as to the
town's people.
Mashpee is the first town on Cape Cod to adopt cluster
zoning. We feel this to be a big step forward, and that it
will be most beneficial to town growth in the future.
We have also approved quite a number of subdivision
plans, which is indicative of the rapid growth of our town.
The proposal to have the Planning Board, Finance
Committee, and Board of Selectmen meet to form long
range plans for the town's future is a good one and we
hope to accomplish this in the ensuing year.
We are grateful for the cooperation of the Board of
Selectmen, and other town departments- and officials dur-
ing the course of the year, and to Attorney Charles McGrath
for his invaluable assistance in helping to solve our many
legal problems.
Respectfully submitted,
ANDRE LABUTE, Chairman
MINOR PEDERSON
HARRY TABB
MYRON STUDLEY
OTTO DORRER
Planning Board
