29. <br />Report of the Board of Health <br />To the 'Honorable Board of Selectmen and Citizens <br />of the Town of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br />The Board of Health hereby submits their report for <br />the year nineteen -hundred -sixty-three (1963). This year <br />represents our fourth year of operation. Since the establish- <br />ment of this board, the members have endeavored to officiate <br />to their fullest capacity. The Board met weekly, and was <br />available several nights other than the set hour of operation; <br />often attending other departmental meetings, hearings and <br />discussions. <br />Inspections were made throughout the Town for build- <br />ings, cesspools, restaurants, motels, camps and other estab- <br />lishments. Permits were granted in accordance with the <br />Sanitary Code and the General Laws. All funds received <br />were duly noted, submitted to the Treasurer and the receipts <br />were placed on file. <br />The nurse served the Town for the year by conducting <br />clinics, examinations, house calls, and assistance to dental <br />clinics by use of transportation. Complete details are in <br />the Nurse's report. <br />We wish to extend our deepest appreciation and thanks <br />to Dr. Fred Moore who has served the town for many years <br />as a town physician and who has submitted his resignation <br />and notice of his retirement from the County Health De- <br />partment. Due to the fact that there are no physicians <br />Within the limits of the town we are in the process of hiring <br />Dr. Paul Jaques of Osterville who will perform the duties <br />Of town .physician. <br />The Board of Health wishes to extend their thanks to <br />the County Board of Health, Dr. Fred Moore, Dr. Gwendolyn <br />
