34 <br />Report of the Highway Surveyor <br />To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and the <br />Citizens of the Town of Mashpee, Massachusetts: <br />I hereby submit my report for the year ending December <br />31, 1965. <br />Chapter 81. <br />Roads that were treated with <br />bituminous. <br />Falmouth Road 2,520 sq. yds. <br />200 tons type 1 top <br />Lovell Lane 3,200 sq. yds. <br />1,600 gal. mc. 800 hone job <br />Quashnet Road 2,900 sq. yds. <br />725 gal. mc. 800 Seal <br />Asa Meigs Road 1,400 sq. yds. <br />350 gal. mc. 800 Seal <br />Cotuit Road 9,860 sq. yds. <br />2,465 gal. mc. 800 Seal <br />South Sandwich 6,000 sq. yds. <br />1,500 gal. mc. 800 Seal <br />Collins Lane 1,600 sq. yds. <br />400 gal. me. 800 Seal <br />Great Neck Rd. 26,660 sq. yds. <br />6,665 gal. mc. 800 Seal <br />Red Brook 5,600 sq. yds. <br />1,400 gal. mc. 800 Seal <br />Orchard Road 6,350 sq. yds. <br />1,600 gal. mc. 800 Seal <br />All other Town Roads were patched, brushed and some <br />shoulder work. I find the roads in Mashpee are in the best <br />shape they ever have been except Great Oak Road which <br />needs to be rebuilt. <br />Chapter 90 Construction <br />Work was done on 9,125 feet of Meetinghouse Road. The <br />road was brushed, grubbed, widened and fill graded. 35 catch <br />basins and 5 manholes were installed. 4,200 feet of 12" pipe <br />was laid. The road was tack coated with mc. 250 cut back and <br />readied for mix in place. <br />Chapter 90 Maintenance <br />Money was used on Route 130 to patch 2,600 feet 11/4' of <br />construction type one topping. Waterways were reconstructed <br />
