., 20 „ Report of the Board of Health To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and Citizens of Mashpee: The Board of Health offered the Town the services of nursing facilities, sanitation, clinics, immunization and pro- fessional care. This year our dental program was not too successful. We started a new program to try and motivate parents to Parti- cipate by transporting their children to the dentist instead of us providing the transportation as in previous years. We felt this way would be better since we do not carry proper insurance on the vehicle that would be transporting the chil- dren. We have a new dentist this year, Dr. Robert A. Riley of Osterville, Mass. and our intentions are to be more suc- cessful with the dental program. We also have a new doctor that is taking care of the clinics this year at the school. He is Dr. Hutchins F. Inge of Osterville, Mass. The upkeep of our disposal area has shown a vast im- provement. We have a full time attendant and three (3) re- lief men to help keep the area operating properly. Our biggest problem with the disposal area is to keep non-residents and unauthorized persons from using the area. For the first time we have 'by-laws to govern the use and stickers for all resi- dents to display so the attendants will be able to know who are authorized to use the area. A new shelter has been erected at the disposal area and heat installed. We are active with the Barnstable County Regional Refuse Planning Com- mittee. The annual clean-up week was a success. It received the co-operation and participation from the inhabitants.
