Town l i! of MaV( Vpl/e . <br /> 16A 16 Csreat:.1Ufc�k-' cad Xorth <br /> � �ME Maslipee,Nassachusetts 02649 <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, November 17, 2020 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Charlie Maintanis, Building Inspector <br /> Glen Harrington, Board of Health Agent <br /> Evan Lehrer, Town Planner <br /> Scott Carline, Chief of Police <br /> Rodney Collins, Town Manager <br /> Tom Rullo, Fire Chief <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br /> Charlie called the meeting to order at 9:15 am, as a remote and virtual meeting. <br /> Proiect Address: 14 Wags Road <br /> Business Name: Aspen Blue Mashpee, LLC <br /> Owner/Agent: Patrick Casey <br /> Architect/Engineer: Dennis Colwell Architects <br /> Request: Proposing a new 8,726 sq. ft. commercial building to <br /> be used for marijuana cultivation. Addition to an existing <br /> building. (Note: A modification of Special Permit SP-04-26 with <br /> ZBA under §174-25 (E) (16) and §174-24 (K). <br /> Frank Zaino represented the application. He provided the committee with a site plan of the <br /> proposed additions. The existing site is completely fenced in with a security fence and has <br /> as sliding gate at the entrance. They will be replacing the gate with an electronic gate that is <br /> controlled with a farb, and a Knox box for fire and police.After entering the facility,the rear <br /> of the building will have employee parking. There will be new sight lighting in accordance <br /> with IFEMA high security minimums. Employees will enter through the employee entrance. <br /> There will a 24-hour security team that will enter through a transition corridor that will allow <br /> for the team to disrobe and change into clean clothes. <br /> This facility is cultivation only and is not open to the public; only for the production of <br /> flower. There's no extraction or laboratory. There is proper egress requirements, a sprinkler <br /> service with a new utility building that will house all the mechanical, electrical systems, and <br /> existing sprinkler mains. There is a clone, veg, and mother area and two flowering rooms. <br /> Once the product is harvested, it will then be cold shipped out of the facility using the <br /> shipping and receiving area. The process is all post-harvest operations; drying, curing, and <br /> trimming are off site. This facility will only be for flower production. <br />
