Explanation: This is a"clean-up"article to meet the requirement of reserving funds from the supplemental <br /> CPA FY 2020 Trust Fund distribution. The amount of FY 2020 state reimbursement received by the Town <br /> of Mashpee was $219,710 higher than the initial estimate and due to a surplus in the FY 2019 state budget. <br /> We are required to set aside 10% of those excess funds and deposit them into each of the CPA reserves. <br /> Funding shall derive from the Community Preservation Budgeted for Appropriation Reserve. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 4 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 4 by a vote of 6-0 <br /> Motion Made By Selectman Sherman <br /> Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Articles 4, 5, 6, and 7 as printed in the Warrant,with <br /> the exception of the phrases "or take any other action relating thereto." <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:13 PM <br /> Article 5 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $27,800 from the Community <br /> Preservation Fund 10% Historic Purpose Reserve in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter <br /> 44B, §5 for the purpose of funding the Retrofit of the Vault Project including necessary costs and expenses <br /> related thereto, as recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Community Preservation Committee <br /> Explanation: The goal of this project is to retrofit the vault in the Town Clerk's Office with mobile storage <br /> shelving with carriages, track and steel end panels to store vital records. Retrofitting the vault with mobile <br /> shelving would increase the vault storage by approximately 60%.
