Town of Mashpee y N 10 Crept JVeck Road worth Washime,Massachusetts 02649 Meeting Minutes Design Review Committee Tuesday,October 6,2020 Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room Design Review Committee Members Present: Charlie Maintanis,Jonathan Furbush,and Joe Callahan. Charlie called the meeting to order at 8:40 am as a virtual/remote meeting. 8:30 am Project Address: 2 Center St.,Unit 2B Business Name: New Day Ministries Community Church Agent/Owner:Kenyetta Jeffries Architect/Engineer: Terkelsen Custom Request:A 20"x 120"(16 sq.ft.)sign attached to the building Kenyetta represented herself for the sign application. The sign will be replaced in the same location as the former business. Charlie polled the members for questions. Joe asked the materials of the sign.Kenyetta said that Nick Terkelsen could not be available to answer any questions,but he sent her an email dated Tuesday,October 2,2020,explaining the sign material, and how it will be attached to the building. Jonathan asked about the size and colors of the sign.He also asked how long the organization had been in business. Kenyetta said it will basically be the same size as the previous sign. The colors were presented in a rendering with the dimensions.The organization started at the end of 2017, and met at the "Meeting Space", and then at Mashpee TV holding virtual meetings due to closures from the pandemic. Jonathan had no more questions and said everything looks good. Charlie said he had no issues, but a sign permit would be required through the Building Department. Joe made a motion to accept the New Day Community Church sign located at 2 Center St. Unit 2 B.Jonathan second.All were in favor.
