TWIN <br /> 2own of Nashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck Road,Xboh. <br /> Washpee,Massachusetts 02649 <br /> Mashpee Conservation Commission Minutes <br /> Thursday, May 28, 2020 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Ockway Meeting Room <br /> Virtual/Remote Meeting <br /> 508-539-1400, extension 8585 <br /> Broadcast Live on Local Cable Channel 18 <br /> Streamed live on the Town of Mashpee website: https://www.mashpeema.gov/channel-18 <br /> Present: Brad Sweet, Dale McKay, Chad Smith, Tom O'Neill <br /> CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairman Brad Sweet called the meeting to order at 6:00pm. <br /> PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> • Administrative Approval: 13 Ocean Bluff Avenue: Proposed seasonal walkway <br /> Deanna Broadley presented plans. Agent said this pretty straightforward. It's already an existing <br /> pathway, we administratively approved a similar project a few houses down in the same area. It's <br /> not really impacting anything other than going over an existing sand path. Ms. Broadley explained <br /> how it would be installed. Mr. Sweet clarified that the Agent was sure it wasn't doing any damage <br /> to the coastal dune, Agent replied no damage at all. Mr. Sweet asked how we notify the homeowner <br /> to notify Ms. Broadley to remove by the appropriate dates, Agent said as with any other <br /> administrative approval, we'd supply documentation of the approval and any conditions that go <br /> along with it. Ms. Broadley clarified the correct address is 7 Ocean Bluff, not 13 Ocean Bluff. <br /> Motion: Mr. Smith moved to approve the walkway at 7 Ocean Bluff, Mr. McKay seconded. <br /> Vote: 4-0 unanimous <br /> • ADDITIONAL TOPICS: <br /> (This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would be <br /> discussed). <br /> HEARINGS: <br /> 6:00 Sean B. & Katherine M. Burke, 23 Monomoscoy Road West. Proposed bank stabilization, NOI <br /> landscaping, construction of elevated platform and stairs. At request of applicant, vote to <br /> continue to 6/11 @ 6:15 p.m. <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay moved to continue to 6111/20 at 6:15pm, Mr. Smith seconded. <br /> Vote: 4-0 unanimous <br /> 6:03 Southworth Mashpee Properties LLC, 61 Shoestring Bay Road. Proposed building NOI <br /> envelope to allow for construction of single-family dwelling. <br /> Mike Ball from Baxter Nye Engineering presented plans. Agent said this is an undeveloped <br /> parcel, this is just so they can keep it available to show to people interested in purchasing. The <br /> details of the actual final house design, landscaping, hardscaping, etc... will have to be brought <br /> forward through an amended order. He asked Mr. Ball what Willowbend plans to do to maintain <br /> the lot if this gets approved. Mr. Ball said his understanding is the site is cleared by Willowbend, <br /> and there has been regrowth on the site. They will probably want to clear a portion of it to allow <br />
