To the Constable of the <br /> Town of Mashpee GREETINGS: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of-Massachusetts, you are hereby directed <br /> to notify aryl summons the inhabitarts of the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified <br /> to vote in the elections, to meet at the Town Hall on Morday, September 26, 1966, <br /> at 7 P. ;. for the followi rg purposes: <br /> Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds in <br /> the treasury the sum of $3500.00 for Police Compensation. This amount i rnludes <br /> funds for part-time officers for days off and vaoat ors, or take ary other <br /> action thereon. Submitted by the Police Department. <br /> The Fina rre Committee recommends to tro rsfer from available fu rtls in the <br /> treasury the sum of 42800,00 <br /> Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Treasurerts re- <br /> ceipts the sum of $1145.00, represertirg the amount received from collision <br /> insurarme on the 1963 cruiser. This amount to be used in conjunction with the <br /> furd8 already voted at the 1966 Annual Town Meeting to purchase and equip a <br /> new Police Cruiser, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the <br /> Police Departure rt. <br /> The Finance Committee recommo rds that the sum of $1145.00 be transferred <br /> from available funds. <br /> Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to tra rsfer from available funds the <br /> sum of 51 ,621 to pay a delayed billing to Rusty's Dr., for Town Hall heating <br /> boiler repairs, or °take any other action thereon. Submitted by Selectmen: <br /> The Fina rice Committee recomme rds that the sum of 010.62 be tra rsferred <br /> from available funds. <br /> Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of Section <br /> -A of Chapter 41, which provides for the Board of Selectmen to appoint one of <br /> its own members to act as Gas Irspector urtil his successor is qualified. Said <br /> appointment is subject to the appropriation as set by the annual town meeting <br /> of March 7, 1966. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen*. <br /> Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Park aryl Recreation <br /> ommission, and the Cemetery Commission, to employ one or more members of each <br /> such commission, as a laborer for work under the jurisdiction of each such <br /> commission at an hourly wage of eol*75, as authorized by Section 4-A Chap e-r 411,s <br /> of the General Laws of Mas achueetts.
