Article 7. To see.if the Town will assume liability in the manner provided by Section 29 of Chapter 9 of the General Laws, as recently amended by Chapter 5, Acts of 1955 for all damages that may be incurred by work to be performed by the Department of Public Works of Massachusetts for the / improvement, development, maintenance and protection of tidal and non-tidal rivers and streams and harbors, tide- waters, foreshores and shores along,a public beach in accord- ance with Section XI of Chapter 91 of the General Laws, and authorize the Selectmen to execute and deliver a bond of in- demnity therefor to the Commonwealth. Submitted by Board of Selectmen. Action: Motion made and seconded article be accepted as read. 122 for, none opposed. A vote. Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to add $30,000.00 to the Stabilization Fund; $15,000.00 to be taken from free cash in the General Treasury, and $15,000.00 to be raised and appropriated, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Board of Selectmen. Action: Motion made :and seconded to take $15,000.00 from free cash and $15,000.00 to be raised and appropriated. A unanimous vote. Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $3,500.00 from the Overlay Account to the Reserve Fund, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Fi- nance Committee. Action: Motion made and seconded article be accepted as read. A vote. Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $1,500.00 to be used in conjunction with Highway Maintenance under Chapter 90, representing the Town's share, and to transfer from available funds in the Treasury, the sum of $3,000.00, representing the State and County share. This amount, when reimbursed, to be returned to surplus revenue, or take any other action thereon. Sub- mitted by Highway Department. Action: Motion made and seconded article be accepted as read.
