Article 8. To see if the Town will assume liability in the manner provided by Section 29 of Chapter 9 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by Chapter 5, Acts of 1955 for all damages that may be incurred by work to be per- formed by the Department of Public Works of Massachu- setts for the improvement, development, maintenance and protection of tidal and non -tidal rivers .and streams, har- bors, tide -waters, foreshores and shores along a public beach in accordance with Section XI of Chapter 91 of the General Laws, and authorize the Selectmen to execute and deliver a bond of indemnity therefor to the Commonwealth. Action: Motion made and seconded that article be ac- cepted as read. 90, for, 0, opposed. Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to add $25,000.00 to the Stabilization Fund; $15,000.00 to be taken from free cash in the general treasury, and $10,000.00 to be raised and appropriated, or take any other action thereon. Action: Amended to read: Motion made and seconded that $10,0100:010 be raised for the Stabilization Fund; $5,000.00 .to be taken from free cash in the general treasury, and $5;000.0 to be raised land appropriated.
