80 <br />Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $1,500.00 to blacktop the parking <br />area at the flume (herring run) on Route 130, or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to, raise and appro- <br />priate $1,500.00. A unanimous vote. <br />Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $5;000.00 to blacktop the road and <br />portion of the parking lot on the Town owned portion of <br />South Cape Beach or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and .seconded that article be <br />tabled. <br />Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $8;500.00 from the current year tax <br />levy, this :amount being the second installment of a three <br />year contract for a total cost of $25,500.0.0. voted in Article <br />2, Special Town Meeting held May 23, 1966 or take any other <br />action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article be <br />accepted as read. A unanimous vote. <br />Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $1;500.00 for the purchase, for park <br />and recreation purposes, of a parcel of land containing one- <br />half acre, more or less, located on Mashpee Lake abutting <br />the Town Beach, and belonging to the heirs of Stephen A. <br />Peters—subject to the Town obtaining ;a good and market- <br />able title thereof; or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion; made and seconded that article be <br />tabled. 58 for, 27 opposed. <br />Article 30. To see if the Town will approve a full time <br />inspector for the Board of Health, at a salary of $4,800.00 <br />per year or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made .and seconded article be accepted <br />as read.
