103A <br />SPECIAL TOWN MEETING — TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />BARNSTABLE, ss.: <br />Town of Mashpee <br />To the Constable of the <br />GREETINGS: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br />are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants <br />of the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the <br />elections, to meet at the Town Hall on Thursday, January <br />26, 1967, at 7 P.M. for the followdng purposes: <br />Moderator William W. Mills called the meeting to order <br />at 7:18 P.M. The tellers, Mrs. Barbara Peters and Miss <br />Eleanor Peters, counted 153 voters present which constitutes <br />a quorum. <br />Article 1. To see if the town will vote to amend ()hap - <br />ter III, Article 2 of the Town by-laws by adopting as a <br />portion of the -official zoning map of the Town of Mashpee <br />as revised August 1966, :and designating as an industrial <br />district the area shown on a plan of land dated December <br />22, 1966, and filed with the Town Clerk, bounded and de- <br />scitibed as follows: <br />Northerly by the southerly side of Falmouth Road, <br />also known as Route 28, 2,057 feet, more or less; <br />Northeasterly by land of Robert R. McNutt, Jr., et ux, <br />158 feet; <br />Easterly also by land of said McNutt, et ux, 1,735 feet, <br />more or less; <br />Southerly by land of said McNutt, et ux, :and by Samp- <br />son's Mill Road, 1,774 feet, more or less; and Westerly by <br />Mashpee Neck Road East, 1,293 feet, more or less, or take <br />any other action thereon. <br />Action: Voted 128 for, 8 opposed. <br />Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to amend Section <br />CI of the Zoning by-laws (Article 2 Chapter 3 of the Town <br />by-laws) by adding the following: <br />(g) Tenting grounds, camping grounds or similar uses but <br />only when permitted by the Board of Appeals in ac- <br />cordance with Section C(3) of these by-laws, or take <br />any other action thereon. <br />®. <br />
