However, the Field's
'14 Point Manufacturing Co. agreed to pay $1,500.00 as an over
all compromise settlement.
We plan to take this parcel by eminent domain.
Originally we hired Mr. Mycock of Cotuit, to proceed with
the work on the Rosanna Jonas lot, and he did a lot of work
on it, but his work was interrrupted when the Town hired a
Counsel for our legal work, in such cases the law states, in
Chapter 41, Section 26A, that the appointed counsel, must be
used in all legal proceedings.
We now have property that can be used as Town Landings,
I as soon as they are properly recorded.
A parcel on Ockway Pond, one on Hamblins Pond, a plot
I on Great River, one at Seconsett, a piece of marshland on
Sedgelot Pond, and marshland at Punkhorn Point.
d There are several more parcels that we would like to lay-
out in the very near future.
Respectfully submitted,
EMMA O. MILLS
CARL A. AVANT
I ,
f .
