i <br /> t <br /> 14 <br /> J STANDING ORDERS—MASHPEE DENTAL CLINIC <br /> Aim—To provide dental care for children residing.in the Town <br /> of Mashpee, who are in financial need of dental care. The <br /> main purpose shall be to get the mouths of these children <br /> in a state of good dental health and to educate them to the <br /> fact that regular dental visits -and proper daily care are a <br /> i <br /> necessity. <br /> Eligibility—The statement as to financial eligibility shall be <br /> j in writing and shall satisfy those in charge of the clinic. This <br /> I <br /> may be on 'a temporary basis. <br /> ? This service shall be provided from the age of 5 through <br /> the 6th grade.Preference shall .be given -to the younger age <br /> i <br /> j group. <br /> No child shall be -treated without written consent from <br /> {V; his l ; � parent or guardian. <br />' I Administration—The Board of Health shall provide for 24 <br /> clinics each school year plus additional money for supplies. <br /> i ` <br /> 1 A committee of two qualified dentists, not to include the <br /> a clinic dentist, shall act in an advisory capacity. <br /> � 1 <br />! They shall evaluate the work of the clinic annually. <br /> Only a dentist who is licensed to practise in Massachu- <br /> setts shall be appointed as clinic dentist and he shall be <br /> appointed annually by the Board of Health.
