I
The former Samuel Davis School, which had been used for Town Offices for
several years, was redesigned, restored and remodeled to become Mashpee's
first permanent Town Hall. Twenty-five percent of the cost was paid through
a State grant.
The 18,000 square foot facility provides ample office and meeting space. An
additional 5,000 square feet of available expansion space will allow for this
facility to provide for Mashpee's office needs well into the 21St century.
With an abundance of natural light, muted color tones, modern acoustics and
a new heating and cooling system, Town Hall provides a quiet and comfort-
able atmosphere for employees and visitors alike.
The restoration and renovation project was coordinated by the Town Hall
Building Committee: James Vaccaro, Chairman and members Charles F.
Buckingham, Robert K. Fox and Raymond J. Martini, Jr.
r,.
Front Cover Illustration done by Strekalovsky & Hoit
Photographs of Town Hall courtesy of Mashpee Historical Society
rzt
r
