0 <br /> Explanation, When new lots are created, they cannot extend more than 30 feet across a zoning <br /> district boundary. This article would exempt "overlay" district boundaries from that <br /> requirement. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 6-�0. <br /> Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on September 19, 2007 4-0 to recommend <br /> approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman John Cahalane. <br /> Motion: I move Article 17 be voted as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:51 PM. <br /> Article 18 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning y-law by amending subsection 174-25.E.(7) <br /> by substituting for the word "kennel" the words "Commercial Boarding or Training kennel, <br /> Commercial Breeder kennel, Domestic Charitable Corporation kennel, Veterinary kennel" and <br /> adding a new subsection 174-25.A.(16) reading "(16) Personal kennel, with the letters "PR" <br /> added under all zoning district columns of the Table of Uses indicating that such use is allowed, <br /> subject to the Plan Review process described in Subsection 174-24.1 ., in any zoning district <br /> and by amending Section, 174-3.A. to amend the defin ition of"Personal kennel" by changing the <br /> phrase "one pack or collection of more than 3 dogs aged 3 months old" to read "one pack or <br /> collection of 5 to 9 dogs aged 3 months old" <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Planning Board <br /> Explanation: This article would replace the current provision that "kennels" are only allowed in <br /> commercial and industrial zoning districts by special permit with separate provisions for <br /> "Personal kennels" in any zoning district, (with such kennels it 5-9 dogs, as opposed to <br /> "more than 3" as currently provided), subject to the staff-level Plan Review process, and other <br /> types of kennels (using the definitions adopted at the May 2007 Town Meeting) still only <br /> allowed in commercial and industrial zoning districts by special permit. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval,by a vote of 5-0. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 6-0. <br /> Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on September 19, 2007 4-0 to recommend <br /> approval. <br /> 16 <br />
