Town of Mashpee <br /> Annual Town Meeting <br /> Quashnet School <br /> October 18, 2004 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:42 p.m. <br /> 276 voters present <br /> Quorum 0 <br /> With the new Charter in effect the Moderator has to appoint an Assistant Moderator. <br /> Edward Larkin was nominated as Assistant Town Moderator. <br /> Motion made to appoint Edward Larkin as Assistant Town Moderator. <br /> Motion passes at 7: 44 p.m. <br /> The Moderator appointed Edward Larkin as Assistant Town Moderator at 7:44 p.m. <br /> Barnstable, ss: Greetings <br /> To the Constables of the Town, <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and <br /> summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to <br /> meet at the Quashnet School on Monday, the 18th day of October, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. for the <br /> following purposes: <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant. <br /> Motion made by Edward Larkin. <br /> Motion: Motion made to ratify the vote taken by the Board of Selectmen to adopt a resolution <br /> under their authority of Article 8 Section 8-5 of the Charter to extend and defer these <br /> 'requirements of reporting and recommendations for this meeting only. <br /> Motion passes at 7:47 p.m. <br />
