Salary/Wages 111,260 <br /> Conservation Dept. Salary/Wages 22,681 <br /> q i�ll8 Human Resources Salary/Wages 29,961 <br /> Insurance Expenses 26,323 <br /> Legal/Eng./Consulting Expenses 15,000 <br /> Transfer Station Expenses 18,485 <br /> i, Total Budget Reductions: $314,267 <br /> The reduction in the School budget reflects a loss of $90,557 in State Aid to schools referred to as <br /> Chapter 70 funds. The reduction in police salary and wages is the State's 50%portion of the Quinn Bill, <br /> which pays members of Police Departments for education credits above high school. The State did not <br /> fund its share of these reimbursements in their FYI approved budget. The remaining recommended cuts <br /> 1 are needed because of other areas of decreased State incomes. <br /> If approved, this Article will have no effect on the property tax rate.
