Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer $4,412 from the Cape Cod Regional <br /> Technical High School Account to various departmental unpaid bill accounts, with said funds to <br /> be distributed by the Town Accountant. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:39 p.m. <br /> Article 2 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds $1.1 million to <br /> offset the FY2004 budget shortfall. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: These funds are needed to cover the decrease in state aid issued to the town. <br /> Recommendation,: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion be made by George Green, <br /> Motion: I more the Town vote to appropriate and transfer $229,000 from the Stabilization Trust <br /> Account-, appropriate and transfer $150,000 from the Overlay Surplus Account; and appropriate <br /> and transfer $350,000 from Revenue Available for Appropriation for a total of $729,000 to be <br /> transferred to line item 55 of the FY2004 Omnibus Budget as voted at the May 5, 2003 Annual <br /> Town Meeting. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:40 pm. <br /> Article 3 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer $250 from the Cemetery Expense <br /> Account to the Cemetery Salary and Wages Account,, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Cemetery Commission <br /> Explanation: This article is necessary to pay for employee wages associated with the opening <br /> of the columbarium located at the Great Neck Woods Cemetery after normal business hours. <br /> While an opening fee is paid, this fee is deposited into the Cemetery Reserve Receipt Account <br /> and cannot be used to pay salaries. <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by John Cahalane. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer $250 from the Cemetery Expense <br /> Account to the Cemetery Salary and Wages Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:41 p.m. <br /> October 20, 2003 Town Meeting <br />
