Town of Mashpee <br /> October Annual Town Meeting <br /> October 2, 2000 <br /> The meeting was call to order at 7:37 p0mo <br /> 383 voters present. <br /> Quorum 0 <br /> Barnstable, ss: Greetings <br /> To the Constables of the Town, <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and <br /> summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to <br /> meet at the Quashnet School on Monday, the 2nd day of October, 2000 at 7:30 p,.m. for the <br /> following purposes-. <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant. <br /> Article I <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $3,,068.70 <br /> to pay previous fiscal year unpaid bills as follows.- <br /> Bay Radiology $27.00 <br /> Bay Radiology 21.00 <br /> Belmont Springs 8.08 <br /> Cellular One—Conservation 27.92 <br /> Cellular One—DPW 18.30 <br /> Falmouth Hospital 140.00 <br /> Meditrol, Inc. 1,850.00 <br /> Ron's Truck-Stop, Inc. 976.40 <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Town Accountant <br /> Explanation: This article seeks funding for fiscal year 2,000 bills presented after the close of <br /> the fiscal year. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by David Leveille, <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate $3,068.70 to departmental unpaid bill <br /> accounts, funds to be distributed by the Town Accountant. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:43, p.m. <br /> Motion made by Karen Walden-, I move, pursuant to M.G.L.c. 39, § 15, to dispense with a <br /> counted vote on the articles requiring a 2/3 vote, however, seven. voters may question. the <br />
