Article 6 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to approve the annual regional school district budget for the Cape Cod Regional <br /> Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, in the amount of$9,206,858, and <br /> further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $437,471 to meet its share of the cost of operation <br /> and maintenance of the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, <br /> 2001, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Treasurer <br /> Explanation: Mashpee's share of the Regional Technical High School budget is $437,471. There are 49 <br /> students from Mashpee at the Regional Technical High School. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by John Cahalane. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to approve the annual. regional school district budget for the Cape Cod <br /> Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, in the amount of <br /> $9,206,858, and further., the Town vote to raise and appropriate $437,471 to meet its share of the cost of <br /> operation and maintenance of the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year <br /> beginning July 1, 2001. <br /> Motion passes at 8:52 p.m. <br /> Article 7 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to reauthorize the revolving Home Composting Bin Account through the Town <br /> Accountant's office in accordance with Mass. General Laws, Chapter 44, Section 53E V2, to be expended under <br /> the direction of the Board of Health, in order to place anticipated revenues collected from the sale of compost <br /> bins which shall be used to purchase additional compost bins, and advertise the availability of such bins, and to <br /> establish the limit on expenditures from said account for Fiscal Year 2002 at $2,500, or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Health <br /> Explanation: A revolving account is required by the Department of Environmental Protection in order to <br /> receive compost bins at no charge to the Town. Revenues must be used to purchase additional bins and <br /> advertise their availability. <br /> Anticipated Budget <br /> Revenues: $21500 <br /> Expenditures: $2.1500 <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> 17 <br />
