Submitted by the Council on Aging <br /> Explanation: A revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse funds generated through <br /> programs supported by such revolving fund such as senior trips and educational program staff. Revenues must <br /> be used to offset expenses of these programs. <br /> Anticipated Budget. <br /> Revenues $71500 <br /> Expenditures $71500 <br /> The Council on Aging will manage this,account through its agent. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by George Green. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to authorize a Council on Aging Revolving Account through the Town <br /> Accountant's office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws., Chapter 44, Section 53E 1/2 to be <br /> expended under the direction of the Council on Aging, in. order to place revenues collected from, Council on. <br /> Aging programs, which shall be used for the purpose of conducting Council on Aging programs, and to <br /> establish the limit on expenditures from said account for fiscal year 2002 at$7,500. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:56 p.m. <br /> Article 10 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create a part-time Clerk position under the Personnel Administration Plan at <br /> Grade IV, Step 1, for the Department of Public Works and further to raise and appropriate $11,030, with said <br /> funds to be distributed as follows: $10,246 to the Department of Public Works Salary/Wage Account and $784 <br /> to the Medicare Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Department of Public Works <br /> Explanation: This article will create a regular part-tfine clerk position to assist the Department of Public <br /> Works in the management of the Solid Waste Transfer Station. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by David Leveille. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to create a part-time Clerk position under the Personnel Administration Plan at <br /> Grade IV, for the Department of Public Works, and further, the Town vote to raise and appropriate $1 1,0�3�O <br /> with said funds to be distributed as follows: $10,246 to the Department of Public Works Salary/Wage Account, <br /> and$784 to the Medicare Account. <br /> 0 0 <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:57 p.m. <br /> Article I I <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create two (2) full-time police officer positions and further to raise and <br /> appropriate $37,904, with said funds to be distributed as follows: $15,070 to the Police Salary/Wage Account, <br /> $5,000 to the Police Expense Account, $70 to the Group Insurance Account, $16,890 to the Employee Medical <br /> Insurance Account and $874 to the Medicare Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> 19 <br />
