Submitted by the Council on Aging Explanation: A revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse funds generated through programs supported by such revolving fund such as senior trips and educational program staff. Revenues must be used to offset expenses of these programs. Anticipated Budget. Revenues $71500 Expenditures $71500 The Council on Aging will manage this,account through its agent. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by George Green. Motion: I move the Town vote to authorize a Council on Aging Revolving Account through the Town Accountant's office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws., Chapter 44, Section 53E 1/2 to be expended under the direction of the Council on Aging, in. order to place revenues collected from, Council on. Aging programs, which shall be used for the purpose of conducting Council on Aging programs, and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account for fiscal year 2002 at$7,500. Motion passes unanimously at 8:56 p.m. Article 10 To see if the Town will vote to create a part-time Clerk position under the Personnel Administration Plan at Grade IV, Step 1, for the Department of Public Works and further to raise and appropriate $11,030, with said funds to be distributed as follows: $10,246 to the Department of Public Works Salary/Wage Account and $784 to the Medicare Account, or take any other action relating thereto.
