Town of Mashpee <br /> Special Town Meeting <br /> May 1, 2000 <br /> The meeting was call to order at 7*.37 p0mo <br /> 279 voters present. <br /> Quorum 100 <br /> Barnstable, ss: Greetings <br /> To the Constables of the Town, <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify <br /> ,and summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the <br /> elections to meet at the Quashnet School on Monday, the I st day of May, 2000 at <br /> 7:30 p.m. for the following purposes: <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant. <br /> Article I <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds $,1,733.02 to <br /> pay previous fiscal year unpaid bills as follows: <br /> Sandra Hicks 150.22 <br /> Falmouth Hospital 152.59 <br /> Falmouth Hospital 88.00 <br /> Falmouth Hospital 53.72 <br /> Quest Diagnostics 121.00 <br /> South Shore Scrap Iron & Steel 998.75 <br /> Cape Cod Hospital 168.74 <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Town Accountant <br /> Explanation: This article is necessary to pay Fiscal Year 1999 bills received after the <br /> close of the fiscal year. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from revenue available <br /> for appropriation $1,733.02 to various unpaid bill accounts to be distributed by the <br /> Town Accountant. <br />
