Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by David Reveille. Motion: I move the Town vote to fix the salaries of the elected officers as specified under the columns entitled "Finance Committee Recommendations": in Line Items 1, 21 101, 21 and 61 of the "Omnibus Budget" as distributed to voters at the Town Meeting and further the Town defray the expenses for the ensuing fiscal year by appropriating those amounts shown under the columns entitled "Finance Committee Recommendations" and that to fund said appropriation, the Town raise and appropriate $35,573,803; and further appropriate and transfer from the Ambulance Receipts Reserved for Appropriation Account $200, 00 to Line Item. 40 and $50,01010, to Line Item 41; appropriate and transfer from the Hotel/Motel Reserved Receipts Account $10 to Line Item 87; appropriate and transfer from the Conservation Revolving Account $12,347 to Line Item 26; appropriate and transfer from the Shellfish Receipts Reserved for Appropriation Account $14,0100 to Line Item 54; appropriate and transfer from the Betterment Receipts Reserved for Appropriation Account $142,631 to Line Item 80 and $43,413 to Line Item 82,; appropriate and transfer from the Land Bank Fund $235,000 to Line Item 80 and $142 to Line Item 82; appropriate and transfer from Revenue Available for Appropriation $22 to Line Item 87; appropriate and transfer from Stabilization $521,000 to Line Item 85; appropriate and transfer from Overlay Surplus$400,0001 to Line Item 85. Motion made to amend Medical Insurance from $3,0178,250.00, to $2,943,403.00. Motion to amend defeated 171 to 55. Motion passes unanimously at 8:46 p.m. Motion made by Karen Walden: I move pursuant to MGL Chapter 39 Section 15 to dispense with a counted vote on those articles requiring a 2/3rds vote, however, seven voters may question the Moderator's declaration of the vote an a counted vote shall occur. Motion passes unanimously at 8:47 p.m.
