Explanation-, As recommended in the Town's Comprehensive Plan, this article would convert two existing C-2 commercial districts to new "Limited Commercial" districts intended to allow commercial uses which would have less impact on the Town's roadways, environment and visual character than development currently allowed in C-2 districts. The article lists the uses that would be permitted, clarifies the types of commercial recreation and entertainment facilities allowed in commercial districts, provides that any permits required in the C-3 districts, which are in highly visible locations on route 151 and Route 130, and in the Mashpee Center Overlay District around town Hall, must be issued by the Planning Board, sp�ecifies certain standards applicable to p�rojects in the C-3 district and eliminates all references to the C-1-0 and C-ISV overlay districts, located near the Mashpee Rotary, which were created in the early 1980s, have never been used and whose provisions have been superceded by more recent zoning provisions.
