I understand 'r4ashPee
has a very
ery fine ladies ' softball team® The Little League - will
they stay at the school? We would like to know their plans .
What about its availability as an all around recreation center?
i understand there is an act of Legislature to acquire land for
these purposes .
Mrs . Carrie Saunders (member of Park & spec® Comm. )
According to our architect, this will be a regulation baseball
diamond. It can serve all . The dimensions are the same (as a
regulation field)® The $7 ,000 is asked in addition to the
$5800. 00 appropriated in 167 ® The reason is because labor and
materials have more than doubled. I just want to be sure it was no single purpose
deal for that kind of money.
Motion was made and seconded to raise and appropriate $7 , 000
. . . . .and it was so voted, unanimously.
Article 12.
