Submitted by the Department of Public Works Explanation: This article is necessary to pay a bill received after the end of a previous fiscal year. The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 2 by a vote of 4-0 The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 2 by a vote of 6-0 MOTION MADE BY SELECTMAN COTTON: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $207 from revenue available for appropriation to pay a previous fiscal year's unpaid bill as follows: John J. Maurer, Inc. $207 Motion passes unanimously at 7:12 pm Article 3 To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to accept a deed in lieu of tax foreclosure, pursuant to G.L. c.60, §77C, conveying fee title to the parcel of real estate owned by Margaret E. Savery shown on Mashpee Assessors Map 47 as Parcel 28 , and further identified as Main Street Rear (as more particularly described in Barnstable Registry of Deeds Book 10381,Page 260); said land to be conveyed to the Town free and clear of any liens or encumbrances except for municipal tax liens securing payment of outstanding real estate taxes, and upon conveyance to the Town, to be held for general municipal purposes. Furthermore, to authorize the Board of Selectmen to undertake any act or to execute any document necessary to consummate this transaction, in accordance with the provisions of G.L. c.60, §77C, or take any other action relating thereto.
