SEE MAP IN APPENDIX A <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This Article once again submits the request of roadway abutters in the Childs River East <br /> development for Town acceptance of the layouts of Leatherleaf Lane, Bog River Bend, Miller Farm Road <br /> and Ferngully Pass. The Article was previously approved by Town Meeting as a Petition Article (Article <br /> 29) at the 2019 Spring Annual Town Meeting on May 6, 2019, however, due to an inadvertent <br /> administrative oversight, the Order of Taking for the subject layouts was not adopted and recorded by the <br /> Board of Selectmen within the requisite 90 day statutory period;thus,the layouts have not become effective. <br /> This Article merely seeks to ratify and confirm the previously approved layouts, whereupon appropriate <br /> Orders of Taking and Betterment Assessment will be adopted and recorded in a timely manner to complete <br /> the layout proceedings for the subject ways. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 12 by a vote of 4-0 <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 12 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> MOTION MADE BY SELECTMAN COTTON: <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 12 as printed in the warrant with the following text <br /> modifications: <br /> Substitute "Fern Gully Pass"for"Ferngully Pass" <br /> and with the exception of the phrase, "or take any other action relating thereto." <br /> Motion made and passes to dispense with reading of Article 12 at 8:49 pm <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:50 pm <br /> Article 13 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 44B, <br /> §6 to Reserve from the FY 2020 estimated Community Preservation revenues, the following amounts: <br /> $154,794 10% for Open Space/Recreational Purposes <br /> $154,794 10% for Historic Preservation Purposes <br /> $154,794 10% for Affordable Housing Purposes <br /> $1,043,551 to the FY 2020 Community Preservation Fund Budget for Appropriation Reserve <br /> as recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, <br /> or take any other acting relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Community Preservation Committee <br /> Explanation: This article is required annually to set aside the 10% Reserves of the estimated Community <br /> Preservation Funds for Open Space/Recreation Purposes, Historic Preservation Purposes and Affordable <br /> Housing Purposes and to fund the Budget for Appropriation Reserve. <br /> 24 <br />
