Motion made by Selectman Cos,ta., Motion-. I move the Town hear the report of the Capital Improvement Committee and further the Town vote to raise and appropriate $451,701 to the following Department Capital Accounts: Fire Capital $21�240 Harbormaster Capital $551000 Police Capital $99�133 Public Works Capital $1841000 School Capital $671328 Town Hall Capital $2500 and further the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Overlay Surplus $130,000 to the Assessors' Cap�ital Account; appropriate and transfer from the Ambulance Receipts Reserved for appropriation $148,000 to the Fire Capital Account; appropriate and transfer $77,858.20 from the Town Hall Architect Account; $20,797.10 from the Wastewater Facility Account and $7,132.70 from the Transfer Station Account for a total transfer of $105,78,8, to the School Capital Account. Motion p�asses at 9,-47 p.m. Article 5 To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to transfer title and ownership of the Mashpee Wampano�ag Indian Museum, Assessors' Map 35, Block 30, to the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council, Inc., and to authorize the Board of Selectmen to petition the General Court for special legislation permitting such transfer. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article authorizes the Selectmen to transfer the ownership of the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum to the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council. Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Selectman Frye. Motion: I move the Town vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to transfer title and ownership of the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum, Assessors Map 35, Block 30�, or a portion thereof, to the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council, Inc., upon such terms and conditions as deemed appropriate by the Selectmen, and vote to authorize the Selectmen to petition the General Court for special legislation permitting such transfer. Motion passes at 9:49 pm.
