Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation,,* This article is for the conversion of the computer system consultant position to a recognized Town position of Network Administrator. With the expanded and changing use of technology to support the operations of Town Departments, this position is necessary in order to maximize the investment and productivity of the Town's technology systems. Conversion from a consultant position to an employee grants the Town greater control over the activities of the position and guarantees compliance with IRS guidelines for the use of consultants.
