To see if the Town will. vote to authorize the Leisure Service Revolving Account through the <br /> Town Accountant's Office in accordance with Massachusetts, General Laws, Chapter 44, <br /> Section 53E 1/2, to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Service Department, in order <br /> to place revenues collected from the various Leisure Services Child Development Programs, <br /> which shall be used for the purpose of paying wages and benefits to conduct said Leisure <br /> Service programs, and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account for Fiscal Year <br /> 1997 at $22,431.84, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Leisure Service Department <br /> Motion: Article 5 be voted as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase, "or take <br /> any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes at 7:43 p.m. <br /> Article 6 <br /> To see if the Town will raise and appropriate, transfer from available funds or borrow pursuant <br /> to G.L. c. 44, §7 (9A) or other lawful authority, the sum of $85,000 for the purpose of <br /> renovating and rehabilitating the 1989 Fire Department pumper, or take any other action. <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Fire & Rescue Department <br /> Motion: The sum of $85,000 be appropriated for the purpose of renovating and rehabilitating <br /> the 1989 Fire Department pumper, including costs incidental and relating thereto, and that to <br /> raise this appropriation, the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, is <br /> authorized to borrow $851,000 in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 7 (9A), of the General <br /> Laws, or any other ena ling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:44 per.. <br /> Article 7 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $15,000 to <br /> the Board of Health's Expense Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Health <br /> Motion.- The Town vote to appropriate and transfer from revenue available for appropriation <br /> $15,000 to the Board of Health Expense Account. <br /> Motion passes at 7:45 p.m. <br />
