Article 4 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to hear the report and adopt the Capital Improvement Program as <br /> presented by the Capital Improvement Committee and to see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate, borrow or transfer from available funds $810,250 to various department Capital Accounts <br /> (See Capital Requests), or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article is to appropriate funds for the Fiscal Year 1999 capital budget and to hear <br /> and accept the report of the Capital Improvement Committee to be distributed at Town Meeting for the <br /> ensuing three-year period. <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Nancy Caffyn. <br /> Motion: I move the Town hear the report of the Capital Improvement Committee and further, the <br /> Town vote to raise and appropriate $657,250 to the following Department Capital Accounts: <br /> Assessors' Capital $100,000 <br /> Fire Capital 84,000 <br /> Leisure Services Capital 29,000 <br /> Library Capital 25,000 <br /> Police Capital 143,250 <br /> DPW Capital 276,000 <br /> and further the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Overlay Surplus $100,000 to the <br /> Assessors' Capital Account; appropriate and transfer from the Ambulance Receipts Reserved for <br /> appropriation $53,000 to the Fire Capital Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:17 p.m. <br /> 11 <br />
