Motion made by Selectman Frye. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to transfer those parcels of town owned land shown on <br /> the 1998 Mashpee Assessors' Maps as Map 21, Block 78; Map 28, Block 14; Map 29, <br /> Blocks 130 and 146; Map 35, Block 74; Map 41, Block 51; Map 42, Blocks 17 and 28; <br /> Map 33, Blocks 1,2 and 3; Map 34, Blocks 2 and 3 and Map 108, Block 32 to the care <br /> and custody of the Conservation Commission pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40, Section 8C. <br /> Motion to amend to indefinitely postpone at 11:00 p.m. <br /> Motion to indefinitely postpone passes at 11:01 p.m. <br /> Town Meeting adjourned at 11:01 p.m. <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. May 4, 1999. <br /> 186 voters present <br /> Quorum—0 <br /> Motion made to reconsider Article 29 at 7:35 p.m. <br /> Motion to reconsider Article 29 is defeated at 7:37 p.m. 86 to 13. <br /> ARTICLE 30 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to establish the Mashpee <br /> Economic Development and Industrial Corporation in accordance with the following <br /> declaration: <br /> Where the need exists for an Economic Development and Industrial Corporation because <br /> unemployment or the threat thereof exists in the Town or that security against future <br /> unemployment and lack of business opportunity is required and that attracting new <br /> industry into the Town and substantially expanding existing industry through an economic <br /> development project or projects financed pursuant to General Laws Chapter 121C and <br /> implemented by such a corporation would alleviate the unemployment and lack <br />
