Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Ken Marsters. Motion: I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate $1828.79 to pay previous fiscal year unpaid bills. Motion passes unanimously at 7:41. Article 2 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $95,000 to fund a contract between the Town and Massachusetts Laborer's Public Employee Council, Local 1249, Unit A and Unit B for the period beginning July 1, 1998, funds to be distributed to various salary line items by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article is placed on the warrant to provide funding for a contract between the Town and Massachusetts Laborer's Public Employee Council, Local 1249, Unit A and Unit B. At the time of publication, this agreement was not finalized. The funds required for this article are estimated not to exceed $95,000. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval.
