Article 2 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $25,000 to the Medicare Account, $1,500 to the Group Insurance Account, and $100,000 to the Health Insurance Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Treasurer Explanation: At the time the budget was prepared for the May Annual Town Meeting, the exact amount needed in these accounts was not ascertainable. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Selectman Leveille. Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from Revenue Available for Appropriation $126,500, the funds to be distributed as follows: $25,000 to the Medicare Account, $1,500 to the Group Insurance Account, and $100,000 to the Health Insurance Account. Motion passes unanimously at 8:27 p.m. Article 3 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $500,000 to the Fiscal Year 2000 School Budget, amount appropriated under Article 3 of the warrant for the May 3, 1999 Annual Town Meeting, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article seeks to authorize an additional $500,000 to supplement the school budget funds provided at the May 3, 1999 Annual Town Meeting. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Selectman Taylor. Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from Revenue Available for Appropriation $500,000 to the FY2000 School Budget Account. Motion passes at 8:33 p.m.
