On the following bodies of tidal water: <br /> (a) Great River, except in any planing channel as may be posted in Upper Great River <br /> (b) Little River <br /> (c) Santuit River <br /> (d) Mashpee River <br /> (e) Ockway River, except in any planing channel as may be posted <br /> (f) In the Mashpee part of Shoestring Bay and Simons Narrows <br /> 5. During conditions of low visibility <br /> B. A boat or personal watercraft operator within sight of a diver's flag shall proceed with caution and <br /> within a radius of one hundred (100) feet of such flag shall proceed at a speed not to exceed three <br /> (3) miles per hour. [Added 19951 <br /> §170-5.Water-skiing; Tubing; Kneeboarding [Amended and rewritten in 1995 to separate water- <br /> skiing from personal watercraft operations[ <br /> A. All water-skiing, tubing and kneeboarding is subject to the applicable provisions of the General <br /> Laws of the Commonwealth, as amended, and to the further restriction that no water-skiing, tubing <br /> or kneeboarding is allowed in Mashpee in or on the freshwater ponds before the hour of 10:00 a.m. <br /> and after the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br /> B. Water-skiing, tubing and kneeboarding is permitted on fresh water ponds and tidal waters of <br /> Popponesset Bay,Nantucket Sound, and Waquoit Bay subject to the following restrictions: <br /> 1. Not within one hundred fifty(150) feet of- <br /> (a) Shoreline, except where posted as permitted <br /> (b) Swimmers <br /> (c) Watercraft underway by means other than motors <br /> (d) Watercraft not underway(for example moored or anchored) <br /> (e) Areas with posted speed limits <br /> (f) Commercial docking or mooring areas <br /> (g) Private docking or mooring areas <br /> 2. Prohibited activities are: <br /> (a) Starting from or stopping on shore (except where posted as permitted) <br /> (b) Drawing more than two (2) skiers <br /> (c) On tidal or salt water, water-skiing from one half(1/2) hour before sunset to one <br /> half(1/2)hour after sunrise. <br /> (d) Water-skiing, tubing, and kneeboarding or towing persons(s) in any manner on the <br /> following bodies of tidal water: <br /> (1) Great River <br /> (2) Little River <br /> 11 <br />
