Annual Town Meeting Tuesday March 6th, 1973 J <br /> Article 62 Continued: <br /> A vote was taken on the last motion to table and it was so <br /> voted. <br /> Garland: Is it proper to reconsider Article 56 at this time, <br /> t>. <br /> Mr. Moderator? <br /> Moderator: Yes . <br /> The amended Article 56 was then read: To see if the town will <br /> vote to take from available funds the sum of $6,500.00 for a water <br /> system for the Town Ball-Field. (We have found the letter in- <br /> dication the initial cost of the well . ) <br /> Moderator: This is in a form of an amendment? <br /> Answer: Yes . To take from available funds the sum of $6,500.00. <br /> This was seconded. <br /> K.D.O'Connell : I make a motion that this Article be cepted <br /> as amended. A second was heard, and it was so voted® <br /> Ar t i c 1 e 6 3: ART 63 To see if the Town will vote <br /> to atttend the Zoning 13y-law of the <br /> Town of Mashpee, Massachusetts, by <br /> changing from R•1 District to a pusi. <br /> ness C-a District a certain parcel of <br /> land owned by Attaquin Hotel, Inc, and <br /> shown on Assessors Map as Lot t0, Map <br /> 36, containing approximately 5.22 acres. <br /> This change to include a continuation of <br /> the present C-2 Zone along the frontage <br /> of said parcel on Route 130 and to a <br /> depth Of 400''in conformity to the present <br /> business C-2 Zone. Submitted by Thomas <br /> Lyons. <br /> ,The Moderator called for a Planning Board report and Mr. <br /> Marsters took the floor. <br /> Mr, Marsters : This parcel of land is that on which the <br /> Attaquin Hotel stands . The Article was submitted by the owner. <br /> We had a public hearing and there was no opposition. This is <br /> E <br /> one of the oldest businesses in town, and it was just an over- <br /> sight that is wasn't included in the present business zoning® <br /> A question was raised as to the effect on the proposed <br /> Historic District. The answer was there would be no conflict <br /> this way; it was left out before because someone thought it <br /> might make a difference . If and when the Historist District is <br /> established and this parcel of land lies within the District <br />
