77 Article 8 . To see if the Town will vote to take by emin- ent domain, purchase, gif t or in any other manner, for purposes of a public park, recreational grounds or any other public purpose, a certain parcel of Marsh and upland, with all the trees, shrubbery and structures thereon, if any, commonly known as Gooseberry Island, containing some two to three acres, more or less, situated off shore in South Mashpee, together with all rights to easements in, and use 'n common with others of, a certain well defined roadway about 83 ft. wide and leading from the main highway to the shore on mainland opposite the said Island, to appropriate any money ` therefore, to determine by whore it shall be spent, and how it shall be raised or take any other action thereon, Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to accept Article 64 as read. Vote: 'Teller's count--25 for none op posed. Article 65. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sure of $150.00 for acquiring by purchase or eminent domain•the land necessary for the location of said Gooseberry Island as accepted by the Town in the preceding article or tape any other action thereon. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept ,Article 05 as read. :J Vote: Teller's count-- 29 for none opposed. 1 Article 08. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to lay out a parcel of land described as follows: + I bounded on the east by Great Flat Fond on the south by Vineyard Sound, and on the west b land of Aida Jonas, , northerly by a ditch, running from Great Flat Pond to Sedge Lot Pond, so called, also the road leading from Great Hay }- 4 Road or Great oak Road, known as the Mcreggor Road, to said Marcel of land or take any other action thereon, Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept Article 00 as read.
