i <br /> 4 57 <br /> ' i 1 <br /> Warrant for Annual Town Meeting � <br /> MA CH 61 1961 If <br /> 3 1E <br /> BARN TABLE, SS: To the Constable of the Town of � <br /> Mashpee, GREETINGS: <br /> In the name �of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts., you <br /> are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of � <br /> the Torn of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the elec- <br /> tions, to meet at the Town Hall on Monday, the sixth day <br /> of March next at seven o'clock p.m. for the following purposes: 3 E <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following warrant. To <br /> meet at the Torn Hall the f allowing Wednesday, March 8, 1961 <br /> s}, to bring in their votes for the election -of officers as adapted <br /> by the Torn. The polls will -be open, at Twelve o'clock noon k <br /> .a <br /> and may be closed at seven-thirty p.m. <br /> lladerat:ar, Mr. William R. Yundt presided at the meet- <br /> ing. <br /> r <br /> The meeting was opened at 7:29. p.m. with a prayer led <br /> by Mrs. Mary E. Green. <br /> Tellers were Miss Eleanor Peters and Mrs. Adeline B. <br /> Hicks. The registered voters 'were separated from the non- <br /> registered and the tellers polled the house. (86) Eighty-six <br /> registered voters were present. <br /> Our Annual Town Meeting was Meld also on March 7, 1961 <br /> to finish the articles of the warrant. A gavel was presented to <br /> the Moderator, 111.Ir. Mundt for the Torn from the Mashpee <br /> Indian Council. Mr. Earl Mills made the re e t i <br /> i. <br /> p s n at on and <br /> renarked that the gavel had been nude from an old timber <br /> of the old. Indian Church. <br /> A motion was made and voted unanimously that the <br /> reading of the warrant be omitted. <br /> 5.' <br /> Article 1.
