9 <br />Annual Town Meeting Warrant <br />MARCH 2, 1953 <br />BARNSTABLE, SS: To either of the Constables of the Town <br />of Mashpee, GREETINGS: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br />are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of <br />the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in Elections, <br />to meet at the New Town Hall on Monday, the second day of <br />March next at nine o'clock A.M. for the following purposes. <br />To act on the articles contained in the following warrant. <br />Also to meet at the New Town Hall, March 2, 1953 the same <br />day (the polls will be open from one o'clock P.M. and may be <br />closed at 5 P.M.) to bring in their votes for the election of <br />officers as adopted by the Town. <br />Constable William W. Mills delivered the warrant to the <br />Town Clerk at 9 o'clock A.M. <br />The Town Meeting was opened with a prayer from Rev. <br />Cleveland I. Wilson at 9:20 A.M. <br />Herbert Gardner, Neota Peters, Lucinda Hicks, Dorothy <br />Barros, were sworn in as Tellers. Susan Jeffers and Martha <br />Edwards were sworn in as Ballot Clerks. <br />Article 1. To choose all necessary Town Officials which <br />are not elected under the Australian Ballot System.
