The large barn door was vandalized, it has
since been repaired and looks like nothing happened.
• UPDATE: Jehu Pond CA-Great Hay/Amy Brown road disturbances— DPW
DPW apologized for the heavy rutting, they will grade to previous conditions.
• UPDATE: CCWRRP - Phase 3 funding priority Projects (Cape Cod Water Resources
Restoration Program - Santuit Fish Ladder/ Upper Mashpee River)
The Agent, Katelyn Cadoret, and Ashley Fisher have been looking around town for salt
marsh of fish passage issues. They focused on fish passage. The Santuit Fish Passage
is the #1 priority, the #2 priority is the Upper Mashpee River structure that needs to be
removed. Other issues are in the Upper Mashpee River involving more structures that
need to be removed. The outlet cage looking downstream from where the river starts
has a lot of undercutting and erosion from the bank that needs to be restored with a
more permanent solution. Lastly, the amount of sediment pouring into the channel
requires DPW to scoop out sand because it slows down the flow and compromises fish
passage. They are lumping these all together as one fish passage project to improve
fish passage.
• ADDITIONAL TOPICS:
(This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would
be discussed).
Adjournment
Motion: Mr. O'Neill moved to adjourn, Mr. Colombo seconded.
Vote: 4-0 unanimous
Meeting adjourned at 7:34pm.
Respec u y su itted,
Katri '`ng
