Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Cotton at 6:34 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday January 11, 2021 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the minutes of Monday,January 11, 2021 as <br /> presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0-1. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden, abstained Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> CONVENE JOINT MEETING WITH THE SEWER COMMISSION <br /> 6:37 p.m. The Sewer Commission meeting was Called to Order. <br /> In attendance was Tom Fudala, Joe Lyons,Ken Dunn,Mike Rapacz, and Anne Malone <br /> Discussion of Wastewater Plan: <br /> The Board of Selectmen met in joint convention with the Sewer Commission for the purpose of reviewing <br /> matters associated to Phase 1 of the Water Resource Recovery Facility; pump stations and collection <br /> system schedule and design including the broader scope of the wastewater plan for the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Tom Fudala, Sewer Commission Chair outlined the project timeline which adheres to the Clean Water <br /> State Revolving Fund(CWSRF) schedule and application thereof submitted in advance of the MassDEP <br /> solicitation deadline for new projects. <br /> Final design is ongoing. Survey work and site borings for the collection system and pump stations are <br /> being conducted for the purpose of testing the site locations. It is anticipated the 75% design submittal <br /> would be achieved in mid-March. This phase will develop the basis for cost estimates to be incorporated <br /> into a May Town Meeting article in addition to an article authorizing a Flow Neutral Bylaw. A Ballot <br /> Question to authorize a debt exclusion for bond authorization is also a requirement for this project. <br />
